I hope it all works out for you .Jesus said don't "Do not give what is holy to dogs, neither throw YOUR pearls before swine, that they may never trample them under their feet and turn around and rip YOU open" .This is what they do ,they have nothing to do with the truth or logic .Don't loose faith ,God will never leave you only men

I don't think this is just the pedo cases ,but an accumulation of reasons:
- Internet has brought to standstill increase in developed countries ,revenues due to unhappy witnesses in these countries are in decline .The expansion to other developing countries was only possible because of these contributions .The current model in unsustainable therefore the closure of many branch offices
- WTS has in the past and until recently dubled in the stockmarket and the hedge fund market ,heave losses ? or unwise investment ? (we'll never know)
- Recession is taking a toll on donations ,have a look on th opencharities.org to see a sharp decline in revenue in 99% off all congragations in Britain
- Pedophilia cases will definetely increase

"Designs" ,I remember when in the early 90's they used 2000 unpaid brothers and sisters to build the Greek Bethel ,and then within 2 years they sold for massive profit ,big scandal ,and big dissapointment for the Greek brothers

Fresh out of the jw.org website http://www.jw.org/en/news/by-region/world/jehovahs-witnesses-office-consolidation/
The Society as from September 2012 is closing 20 branches worldwide .The best bit is the last paragraph :
Workers are available to spend more time preaching
Because of the mergers, qualified ministers who had been serving in small branches can now concentrate on preaching the good news.
A Witness in Africa, who was reassigned to the preaching activity, wrote: " Adjusting my lifestyle to suit the new circumstances was a challenge during the first few months. However, being in the ministry daily has brought me joy and blessings beyond measure. Presently, I am conducting Bible studies with 20 people, and some of them now attend congregation meetings.
Imagine being in Bethel for decades and being told to move out with no job qualifications ,to look after yourself ina third world country and being expected to do more service?
What a priviledge!

Reaction When Telling JWs "New Light" Regarding GB & FDS
by turtleturtle ini told some jw friends about the confirmed changes to the understanding of who the fds is.
two brothers that are in appointed positions stated "i thought that was the understanding already".. .
figures.

The ideal that only the 9 members of the Governing Body are the FDS is new .The idea that only the 9 of the GB provide spiritual food has been around for some years .This is not significant change for your local elders ,all they is care is their position ,doctrinal changes is not something that interests them anymore .

Your LEGAL RIGHTS at the Kingdom Hall
by raymond frantz inwe all know that the society treats us as door mats and we left our rights as christians behind when we got baptized ,but each congragation in britain is registered as an autononous charity ,so you and i the rank and file we contribute towards these charities .does this gives us any rights in the eyes of the law ?
i had a chat with a solicitor and he said you might have but he needs to see first the constitution .the question is : i pressume that this constitution is the same in all british congagations and drafted from the brilliant minds of the watchtower leagal department .does anyone have a copy of a constitution ?
has anyone ever looked into it ?
-
raymond frantz
The idea behind my interest looking into constitution is to find signs or evidence that shows that publishers as contributors have certain rights and therefore the right to put pressure to the undisputed power of elders in the Kingdom Hall .If we have no rights ,why is it that resolutions have to be boted from all in the congragation?

Annual meeting. Greek scholars please help!
by DATA-DOG inbelow is a statement from gb member gerrit losch.
notice what is said about the fds.
is this true?
-
raymond frantz
the use of the article "Ο" is not indicative of the phrase "faithful and and discreet slave " being singular or composite ,this is unrelated .I'm waiting to see that in the Watchtower at some point .As it stands the comments made in this Annual Meetting are incoclusive . What is really evident though is that they spent the whole meeting talking about the meaning of the phrase "faithful and discreet slave" .Jehovah,Jesus ,The End ,shunning policies ,pedophila cases are not woth mentioning . As Jesus said "wisdom is proved righteous by its works" (Matthew 11:19) If they are the faithful and discreet time will tell (don't count on it )

Articles and their use in Greek Language
There are two articles in Modern Greek, the definite and the indefinite. They are both inflected by gender and case, and the definite article also for number. The article agrees with the noun it modifies.
Definite article
The definite article is used frequently in Greek, such as before proper names and nouns used in an abstract sense. For example,
- Ο Αλεξανδρος ηρθε χθες (O Alexandros irthe chthes, "Alexander came yesterday")
- Η ειλικρινεια ειναι η καλητερη πρακτικη . (I eilikrineia einai i kalyteri praktiki, "Honesty is the best policy")
Masculine Feminine Neuter Singular Nominative ο [o] η [i] το [to] Genitive του [tu] της [tis] του [tu] Accusative τον [ton] την [tin] το [to] Plural Nominative οι [i] οι [i] τα [ta] Genitive των [ton] των [ton] των [ton] Accusative τους [tus] τις [tis] τα [ta] Indefinite article
The indefinite article is identical with the numeral one and has only singular. The use of the indefinite article is not dictated by rules and the speaker can use it according to the circumstances of his speech. Indefiniteness in plural nouns is expressed by the bare noun without an article. For example,
- Αγ?ρασα ?ναν υπολογιστ? (Agorasa enan ypologisti, "I bought a computer")
However, the indefinite article is not used in Greek as often as in English because it specifically expresses the concept of "one". For example,
- Ε?ναι δικηγ?ρος (Einai dikigoros, "He is a lawyer")
- Τι καλ? παιδ?! (Ti kalo paidi, "What a good boy!")
